BEA China Expands Its Branch Network In Fujian

, the Hong Kong-headquartered bank, has expanded its China presence with a new branch in Fujian Province.

The new branch in Fuzhou brings the total number of BEA China outlets to 28. Fuzhou, the provincial capital of Fujian, is part of the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone. The branch focuses on serving domestic and foreign-invested corporate customers, offering them a wide range of banking and financial solutions in Renminbi and foreign currencies, including deposits, loans, bond tranding and securities, among others. 

Following the opening of the Fuzhou branch, BEA said it will close its Fuzhou representative office, which was established in 1992, in the future. 

BEA is one of Hong Kong's largest banks, with total consolidated assets of HK$754 billion ($97.2 billion) as at 31 December 2013. It has a network of 127 outlets in China.
